Hey guys, I just wanted to share a mic tets I did today.
I did a very simple mod to my GA R1 Active mkIII by removing some protective material around the ribbon, there were actually 3 layers of protective material on each side of the ribbon and I was kinda surprised how turned out, without me breaking the mic.
So In my studio we have a pretty good sounding live room. Well atleast according to me. Right now the only treatment in there is the slated ceiling with absorbtion over
