Hey Michael, Nice photo. Sorry its taken me 10 years to call you. I have been way buisy the last 2 months. I run a very small not for profit studio. We work with disabled musicians, mostly vetrans so far. I'm also a DV so I relate to the challenges our clients have. Like money for studio time, walking, thinking people will ever actually pay for there music. I'm haveing a great time with it all. My wife dosen't like me working all the time but she is very supportive. Blabbing alot arn't I.
Any way hope you are well. Good luck with your music I have a 63 Kay bass that a disabled movie producer from New York gave me. I have had a great time with it. I've been playing mostly accustic gut the last 25 yrs so it was not to hard to get the hang of. Be cool, Jojo
Hey Michael, Thanks for the request man, glad to have you as a friend. I'm not a bass player, but occasionally I find myself undertaking the role out of necessity. Sometime I'd love to have a chat about all things bass. Feel free to hit me up with anything as well.
Talk to you soon,
I'll absolutely accept your friend request! I gather from your avatar and the intro to your mix (not to mention your handle) that you're a bass player...I've been playing guitar for 30+ years and now find myself playing bass tracks for a lot of my clients. Sometimes it's a struggle to not sound like a guitar player trying to play bass . I can always use a real bass player to critique the bass parts in my mixes, so help me out, will you please?
