First off, happy to be here on this forum. Information about audio and bettering my recording knowledge is my crack. It's both addictive and gratifying! I live in Nashville and tour playing the piano on the road and do recording sessions with various artists for a living.

I consider myself mainly a producer these days however. Having said that... I'm still working my way up as a producer, and in order to keep the cost down for artists and that use me to put their albums together for them I usually have to do the editing, mixing, mastering, etc myself. In the process of all this I've learned a LOT about recording and some amazing mixing techniques from forums like this one and youtube. My mixes are actually starting to get kinda decent finally haha.
