Song 5 is very good.
Another good point. They do sound fine to me as far as the mix goes. I like BFD2 for that, pretty raw sounds. It's more of a feel thing that's getting to me. Thanks again.
Thanks Bozmillar. Good tips. Using a keyboard and the steps you suggested sounds like a faster way of achieving what I am aiming for. You're right about drummers spending their careers trying to play on the beat, because they are human, I don't think they really ever get there though. I am working at trying to find that place with my programming. Just Breathe sounded great, good job, I wouldn't of ever been able to guess if the drums were programmed or not. I enjoyed listening to the other songs as well.
Thanks for getting back to me Bozmillar, Yeah I got what I needed, Danny Danzi wrote and put things into perspective for me, which I appreciated, He answered all my questions and then some. Best to get informed than never to know. I am posting another question though in the Recording Audio forum regarding effects. Mabey you can help me with that. Thanks again and hey! no problem Boz, you did follow thru and contact me, that's what counts.
I just read some things you mentioned in a post about 5.1 recording. Seems you know something about it. i am thinking of purchasing a surround home theatre system to use as monitors. Question, am I going in the right direction using this kind of equipment?
I have a post right now in the RR's main forum section of solving technical issues, so far I'm answering my own questions, I'm looking to get informed. I put - surround recording - in the site search engine, and came up with your comments in one of the articles. I found what you had to say was pretty much on the mark and got my attention.
I would like to know more of what it is you know about 5.1 recording, ie. equipement - method of approach, would help.
I saw dvd's of Brazilian artists using simple video to accompany their music and the concept stuck with me. I'd like to do something similar.
If you are interested, have a look at my post and take it from there.
No obligations necessary. Thanks
