There is alot of discussion out there now that almost everyone and his dog has a Home Studio. Some of us take it a step further and ,do sound treatments,Bass Traps, placement strategies,etc. Now that everything is in place. How do we know if we can trust what we are hearing. This is my dilemma. Cant afford a Acoustician. But I still want to do all I can to eliminate Modes and get a Mix that transfers well. Whos got the tips or tricks on this subject.
This is so true. How do we know? Well i would say that #1 listen on different systems and especially systems you listen to music on regularly. If you mix is sounding good on your monitors and these other systems then you are where you want to be. Another test is to have others listen and give feedback. Bash this is a good place for that.
