Default ZoomHD16 Midi SMF import - some notes don't play?

I've been importing SMF files form MIDI tablature for drum rhythms. Some notes numbers (41, 45, 48, 52, 58, 59, 65, 66, 69) and sometimes even others, don't play. How can I get them to?

If you look in the appendix of the user manual; page 205, You will see the MIDI note number chart. The note numbers you indicated are not implemented in any of the three banks.
It looks like you'll need to constrain yourself to the instruments/note numbers implemented by the unit.
