zoom 16 hd usb w/ Cubase LE

I've got an old laptop, which I doubt will support multitracking perfectly, so I'm looking at this Zoom standalone ($700). A post reported that some ads are misleading. I'm hoping that someone knows whether I can import a set of drum mikes onto the Cubase LE through the USB, then dubbing on other music and vocals.

Brandon suggested that I do some research before buying.

I like the portability of the zoom and might use it for bringing the tracks along for performances with just me, myself and I. It's main use would be for archiving song writting demos.

I have a Zoom G7 1ut guitar effects pedal with Cubase LE.
Which along with my Marshall 900, Rhodes, Tamas and Jazz bass, is gathering dust.

I'm so old school, I can't find the right class room.
