I have two problems: 1. I can't see Zoom ZFX as plugin in Cubase LE 4. Therefore I can't use Zoom ZFX i Cubase at all. 2. I can't select "Audio and midi settings" in Guitar Rig 3 LE. Therefore I can't use Guitar Rig 3 LE as a stand-alone program. I know it should work because when I first installed zoom zfx and cubase le 4 I could use the plugin from "inserts / earlier vst". Since I had problems with different sound drivers and I therefore couldn't use my midi-keyboard I had to make a system-restart . I unistalled everything and after a system restart I installed all the programs again, exactly by the book. Everything works fine except for two things: I can't use zoom zfx as plugin in cubase and I can't select "audio and midi settings" in Guitar rig 3 LE. Guitar Rig 3 LE works fine as plugin in cubase and Zoom zfx works fine as a stand-alone program. Guitar Rig 3 worked fine as a stand-alone program too before the system-restart so I know it should work too. All programs are original and everything else works fine. Anyone who can help me solve the problems? |

When you re installed your software did you install Cubase LE 4 first? or ZFX ? If the cubase is installed first then the ZFX VST plug in has a folder to be installed in that CUBASE will be able to find. VST Plug ins. If not you will have to locate ZFX VST dll and direct it to Cubase. By the way make sure you download the new ASIO driver for ZFX as it has way better performance in terms of CPU load and latency. On my DELL P4 1.8 it dropped the load to half and i can run latency donw to 1.5 or 2 ms on buffer slider with great performance. |

OK. I have fixed one of the problems, that I couldn't select "audio and midi settings" in GR 3 LE. I doscovered a conflict between my Logitech web camera and the Zoom soundcard. I innactivated the web-camera and then I could select the right sound-card again from the GR 3 LE. After that, I activated the web-camera again and everything works just fine! JIPPI! The other problem that I can't see the Zoom ZFX Plugn i Cubase 4 LE has also take som steps forward. Although the problem itself is not yet solved. I now know for sure that it is not anything wrong with thee path-settings. Cubase 4 LE finds the Plugin allright. Cubase reads the plugin just as cubase should. I can't reach it is beacuse it ends up in the "black list". That is a XML-file that is placed under documents and settings/application data/Steinberg/Cubase LE 4/vst2xBlacklist.xml. A Plugin is placed in the black list because probably something isn't what it should be with the Zoom zxf plugin. The question now is why Zoom ZFX is placed in blacklist and what I can do about it? Is it just me who bought Zoom ZFX Plug-in and have this problem? Help, anyone? |
