Markrussi you can only upload your files in MASS STORAGE mode Mickie control dont work Ive talked to ZOOM techs on the phone plug in your USB hold shift and press mass storage youll hear you computer make the connection sound now go to my computer youll see a new device I dont remember what letters came up dbbl click it and it will open your proj 1 proj 2 and so on, click on the proj, your files are in the TAKE folder all your tracks come up, you can right click on each track and play them with your media player you can save them to a folder first, when you unplug zoom your tracks are in the zoom till you save them, then import them to your cubase they will load up as tracks that's it dont have blank tracks in cubase your tracks will create them when imported

I'm trying to go in the other direction, from the computer to the zoom. On page 70 of the manual it tells you how to import a wav/aiff file into the zoom. when I follow these directions and I try to import the wav file into a project it tells me the file is there, but there is a wav header format error and wont load it into a project. even a aif file exported from cuebase into the same folder on the zoom, it says the file is there, but there is an error reading the file. When I check these files on the computer in relation to files created on the zoom, they seem to be the same, I even tried changing the file name, and that didn't help either.

Yep every thing is adjustable in eff3ects mode you will have the option left / right /up or down at any effect, after y go up or down to find the effect/, once you have example distortion short delay push right button until you come to compression hit the enter key then use up and down and turn dial to set each level forgive me its friday and I'm very f"ed up

I finally figured it out. I was exporting the file in 32 bit (floating) and a regular wav file is 16 bit. Once I exported it as 16 bit, every program recognized it as a normal wav file, including the Zoom. It wouldn't recognize a 24 bit output either, only the 16 bit output worked. Now comes the next question, What is the advantage of the 32 bit output, if any?

hi all, just joined, have been using HD-16 for past 12 months. Once u get familiar with it , it works ok. easier to use than comp or the old mutitrack tapers. good review in "Guitarist Magazine" UK issue No.293 at Music Radar.com (UK) helps explain basic functions and usage. wont help more complicated usage, but thats what the handbook is for. My particular problem at the moment is the "stop" button in the transport control section has collapsed partially underneath the top cover of the machine. makes it awkward to stop any recording or playback..... as the machine is just out of warranty (13 months) doh! ... i am going to remove the top cover myself and fix the silly little button ... has anyone removed the top cover yet ? ..it looks like i'll have to lever off every slider knob, eq buttons etc...before unscrewing the screws holding the top cover in place... anyone else had to remove the top cover yet ?
