Default Help Zoom HD16

Hi there. please help home recording buffs.

I've been building up tunes on my HD 16 for the past couple of months.

Is it my imagination or is the built in drummer slowing down.

The songs seem to be losing their energy the more I work on them. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just my imagination?

I've never used the HD 16, but from a technical standpoint it's very doubtul that it is slowing down. Then again, you never know!

This is TOTALLY possible. When you get into arranging, sometimes that "thing" that made the song exciting gets covered up by something else. It happens to be all the time. It's a real talent being able to use all the tools at the disposal in today's recording world without killing the vibe. There doesn't seem to be a correlation between number of tracks and the intensity of those tracks.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry for the late response. I've been focusing on my home recording book.

I don't think it is your imagination unless we are both crazy....i noticed the same thing while recording drum tracks and using the click.....i have about 50 tunes recorded on mine and noticed this at around 40.....
