h2 storage problems

I'm using the H2 handy recorder. I dumped a bunch of stuff onto my computer and deleted the files from the H2 on my computer screen. But my H2 insists that I have only 5 minutes worth of recording time left. I checked to see if the files are still there on the H2 and they are not. I have it set to the lowest sound quality and I've recorded a ton of stuff on there in the past. What's the deal?

the pc forked the files the zoom uses to manage the storage

(re)format the card in the zoom
and then reset your options

never diddle the files from the pc
drag and drop to the pc ok but nothing else
then disconnect asap from pc
and mess with the sd storage via teh zoom not the pc
