 WTF is this thing?? Digidesign Mbox 2 Micro and more Sound and Recording Cards / Audio Interfaces at GuitarCenter.com. any idea??? Is it just a protable low latency audio interface??  |

Yup, it looks like an audio interface. I'm guessing this is to appease to the guys who want to use their Pro Tools LE systems on laptops and such without having to be plugged into their usual Pro Tools hardware. So I can see this thing functioning for recording, but it looks to be more like a dongle. Brandon

It allows you access to listen to Pro Tools projects and therefore to edit them. But it's one-way; you can't record through it.
