I want to find software that will allow me to record separate tracks and combine them. For instance, I'd like to record myself playing a trumpet trio by first recording one part, then the second, then the third. I'd like to be able to record while listening to what I've already recorded through headphones. What software will allow me to do this?

Hi trio - If you're new to recording I recommend you 2 things: 1) Good audio drivers so you can record in real time (no latency - http://www.asio4all.com/) 2) A simple multitrack recording software (www.kreatives.org/kristal/) 3) Optional: A good enough preamp & microphone I hope this helps. good luck |
