Default What can be done with wav files that are mixed?

Can wave files that have already been mixed be edited in any way? If so, what are some of the things that can be done with them to enhance the sound?
    Thanks,
    Jack

yeah you can edit a wave file, you can cut parts out and chop it up all you want. you can also put all kinds of effects on it, it probably won't sound good but you can. as far as enhancing the sound, it depends on the original sound. if it sounds bad it will probably still sound bad when your done editing it. i would try expirimenting with small amounts of eq or whatever else it needs. just expiriment and make sure you don't delete or save over the original file, that way you don't have to worry about ruining it, and you can always go back and see if the new sound is actually any better.

"Enhance" is a tricky word. Usually the best enhancements to my tracks is doing nothing!
