Thank you for reading this post: I'm using an Maudio Profire 2626 with Tracktion 3. I am attempting to record drums, however, there are only 2 available channels to select for simultaneous recording in Tracktion. I don't know why. I had a Presonus Firebox before and Tracktion recognized all 8 channels ins, but the presonus was defective. I went with Maudio and I love it as a stand alone unit, but with Tracktion it won't recognize more than 2 channel ins. I think it may be the way the routing is set in the control panel of the Profire, but I've made changes and still can't make it see all the channels. Can someone please give me instructions to correct this? Thank you... -Rob |

I meant the firestudio, my bad. I went from a firebox to a firestudio and returrned it. Then got the profire from M-audio. There is only one driver available for the profire. As for my computer, it's a duo core 2.53 Ghz, 4 gig ram. So, i'm certain the system is more than capable. Thank you all the same. |

Oh okay. You've definitely got a driver issue. Make sure you have the correct driver selected in your recording software. Brandon |
