| Tracktion 2 has become my main bitch lately. I used to use Pro Tools, and I think that T2 blows away PT LE. (I've never used TDM) It's a very simple program to learn, however you do have to adjust how you think of working in a DAW if you're used to other programs. It has pretty much all the features of any other program and you don't have to deal w/ multiple windows at all which makes for a rather clean work environment. The user support for it is pretty great too at the KVR forums. The program designers hang out there and will usually answer your questions and feature requests. I do have some issues with it... mainly the filing system is wack, and there's issues I have with outputting audio and click tracks to multiple outs for headphone mixes and such. Overall, I give it a B, with hope that future updates will bring it up to an A. Definately worth $150.00. |

i am starting to feal at home with it now after working with it for a while... i think it smokes a lot of stuff! back when i used i had Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and it was AWESOME! now if that ever comes out for Mac i will be one of the first in line to buy the Adobe version of it. but download a demo check it out for a while see how you like it and then decide if you would buy it after that.

Does it have a sequencer and support for VSTi? Brandon |

Hmm. I may need to look into this the next time I deal with sequencers. Brandon |
