Default Terrible Buzzing sound Coming out HELP!

Hello everyone. I just got a new Mesa Boogie Mark V amp and Marshall 4x12 cab with V30's. I've been messing with it for a couple weeks and i'm having serious noise problems. I've changed all my chords. Ive tried different guitars. It sounds like its noise in my powerline! When My fishtank light comes on, it changes!

I would call it a buzzing sound. I ran an extension cord from an outlet on a different breaker and it sounded exactly the same. I turned off all the power in the house except for the line the amp only was plugged in and it STILL does it!

If I turn on my compressor and Reverb, i can Really hear it. But it is very prominent even without the effects loop.

Any Ideas? Do I need a power conditioner? Is the amp messed up? The tubes are all brand new ( Its a new amp).

Thanks.
Chris

how does it change when the fish tank light comes on? louder? quieter? different frequency?

and, if you dont mind me asking... and if the amp works otherwise..How's it sound? My guitarists are lookin to buy Mark V's for their rigs and after watching reviews they refuse to settle for anything less... even the IV's haha

Unhappy grounding situation? Run it to buddy's house and see if it goes away.

thats what it sounds like, especially if it changes when a new power source turns on.

Well, aside of the F**ing buzzing I'm experiencing, It is by far the cleanest, tightest, Tone Packed amp I've ever heard to date.

If you've owned boogies before, you know what I mean. And having all the modes on this one including the IIc+ circuitry is amazing. Not settling will be worth it. I haven't even tried "extreme" mode yet.

Anyways, the noise itself doesn't change, but I can tell when the light comes on or off because it crackles in my amp. BUT! like i said, i hit all the breakers in the house except the one outlet running the amp and still heard the buzzing/hissing. I guess I will take the amp to a friends house and see if it still does it.

yeah it may be a ground problem with the house or loop or a problem with the power lines inside the amp...which would suck the most in the short run but would be the easiest fix by far. those are the things i can think of but I'm sure there are more ideas out there as to what could be causing the buzzing.

cool, just what I wanted to hear. I'll let em know

EDIT: Actually, getting a power conditioner would probably be the easiest fix if thats what the problem is. If it doesnt buzz at your friends house, its (obviously) the house wiring; in which case your gonna have to do more testing to figure out exactly what kind of a wiring problem you have and then spend the time, money and energy into fixing it. =D.
