Default Synchronization help required between Yamaha O2R, Digi 001 & MOTU MTP AV

Hi guys I have Yamaha O2R, Digi 001 with ProTools LE, and MOTU MTP AV. How should the connection go if I want to synchronize my O2R to Digi 001 for automation purpose, and how do I setup the MOTU MTP AV to be the Master. Thank You.

Regards
Raj

Hey dude,
Ive been using a similar setup recently as ive hired my schools recording studio over the holidays to record with my band, using a similar setup...

As i remember the studio is setup somewhat as followed.
Yamaha console (O1V96V2) to the digi 002rack, by optical wire, send and return, from the consol to computer usb from 'host' output to usb connetoin.

Ive have some major issues with the pile of a computer we've been using + the syncronization of the desk with protools LE. Im not sure as to how it was initially setup in protools to find the yamaha hardware, i think it would be straight forward usb.. on the layers section>remote>destination..(not sure if its a preset or setup otherwise, i have destination to protools.
Also imagining it will be in ADAT, i have to often configure the lame computer to see this many of the time.. So i belive its toolbar>setup>clock settings(or config), then ADAT.

Hope this was of some help, the little sence it did make being rather common haha.

Ive previously had some issues with sync with the console to LE, giving one hell'uva poping sound through each active channel, though someone i belive a techie from school fixed it.

-Tom
