Default Studio Monitors

Would these be suitable for studio monitoring until I can buy some good quality monitors?

It depends on how you define "suitable".

If these headphones deliver sound in a way that you can make decisions in tracking and mixing that work well on many audio systems, they are PERFECT. If they are don't, they are far from perfect.

You could get by with these at first. They will "function". However, you probably will have issues with your mixes translating.

Maybe you'll hit the jackpot and these will work out for you.

There is ONLY point to studio monitors.....to let you hear what you need to hear to make mixes that sound great everywhere.

"mixes translating" means that they sound great everywhere. Most mixes will sound good on your studio monitors but nowhere else.

Try doing a search for "studio monitors" in the search box in the top right. You'll find lots of articles and forum posts about them.
