sound only from left speaker on line-in.

When I plug anything into the line in on my creative sound blaster audigy, I only get sound from my left speaker. I've been to control panel and messed with that. T've tried different cables, different adaptors for the 1/4 inch jack and I am lost.

Please any info would help. Thanks a lot.

Have you completely checked your windows mixer, and sound blasters settings making sure that nothing is panned completely to the left?

Or whatever program you're playing out of (Windows Media, iTunes? or whatever) isn't panned completely to the left?

Also check to make sure your adapters and cords are all stereo. Sometimes on the adapters there are tiny M's (MONO) or S's (Stereo).
If you run into any M's this might cause a problem.

Be sure to make check that both speakers are working correctly to. Are you running through monitors or computer speakers?

You didn't specify what exactly you are doing. Are you referring to inputs or outputs?

Most likely this is either adapters or routing. Please tell us what troubleshooting you have done.
