Default Seting up help needed

I have just bought a Behringer 802 mixer, Audio Technica 3035 mic and a M-Audio Audiophile 192 soundcard.

I have tried and tried to get it working to record but i really have no idea which leads connect to which part of the mixer and soundcard.

This is my Mixers:

This is my soundcard:

Thanks in advance guys!

With this paticular mixer and soundcard combo all you need is 2 1/4" male to male cords basiically guitar cords. or it looks like you could do balanced also. You would run out of Main Output on your Mixer to Left and right or 1 and 2 inputs on your soundcard. After that without getting too brain twisted here just try different things until you get a level. Check your computer Mixer and make sure the analog ins are not muted or make sure they are selected. Plug either a mic into the XLR input or a mic or guitar into the 1/4" TRS input on the board turn up the 2 bus. Make sure you have some signal and go from there.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me, means a lot

Right i have done that, and i am getting a signal and it is recording okay, but when i play it back i cannot hear anything...

I have not got any special monitors, only 5.1 surround speakers? can i use these to listen to what i have recorded and if so where would i plug them?

Thanks again dude!

Ok here you would nee a special adapter to go from 1/4" male to 1/8" female and plug these into your soundcard from the audio outs. You may have to go to sound properties in your computer to set the output to your new soundcard. Probably not since your not hearing anything now from the old one. You should just be able to plug it in and hear sound.

When you said surround speakers I was thinking for a computer. Are these powered speakers? If not you will also need an amp or a stereo to plug the sound card into.

Yeah they are computer speakers, and they are phono connectors which go into the panel on the sub, and then i have 3 1/8" (green, orange and blue) from there, which used to go into the computer standard card.

The subwoofer has the amp built in. you will have to plug the sub into the soundcard also so you will need a 2 mono 1/3" to 1 stereo 1/8" adapter to plug it in.
