Default SB PCI + USB Audio Device Simultaneous ?

Here's a shot in the dark question.
I recently gpt a used Soundblaster Audigy 2 PCI and recently bought a new ZOOM G7.1ut guitar processor, which has USB output.

QUESTION: Can I use the two Simultaneous to record ?
That would be 2 tracks (or 1 stereo) from PCI Line-In and 1 stereo track from USB ?

First of all, I can't seem to get the ZOOM to show up in Windows on my PC. A few months ago, it seemed to be working on a Pentium 3 and when I was using a SB PCI-128 soundcard. Now I have a Pentium 4, with newer SB. So, I also have the Zoom USB issue, PC doesn't see it.
ZOOM Site says contact local supplier, which then has a link back to Zoom. So, I'm frustrated, and want to dive into some hobby recording .... first to create some backing tracks of originals ... and eventually a recording project.

Yes, you can use more than one audio interface at the same time, but it can cause problems too.

First, make sure the Zoom installed correctly in Windows. You can do this in Control Panels > System > Hardware Device Manager

If not, I would focus on getting that part to work. If so, you've got an issue with your recording software.

You may want to make sure you don't have a chipset issue if it doesn't show up in control panels.

Default Re: SB PCI + USB Audio Device Simultaneous ?

Discovery !!! But still can't explain

History: Last week, I recorded a guitar track using the SB Libe In, and some VST for drums, bass, piano, orgam from MIDI

Well, last night, I decided to record a 2nd guitar, and "experiment" with doing a second recording in a project ... using the Blues Breaker patch of the Zoom G7 using the G7's USB out ... and I made sure I selected the Zoom USB ASIO driver (REAPER has some nice windows to edit these settings). G7 In/G7 Out
But wait ... the previous tracks are coming out the SoundBlaster. WTF. How ?

Then, I think, Anomaly that might be working in my favour ... seriously.
Record via USB or SB (select proper ASIO driver ... accoring to Input) ... but always "hear" via SoundBlaster. And the G7 analog outs are going to the 4 track I'm using as an in-betwen mixer, so I hear it while recording ... and during playback ... can jam along.

I was using the stereo speakers, but I will experiment more with headphones.
Also, see what is coming out from the G7's headphone

I am not expecting any "magic" and perfection fiddling around with this .... but I am learning, testing what works ... and hopefully, sets my "paths" for my projects of what works (what doesn't)... how to ... etc.

Conclusions: so far
Can't record with a SB Audigy 2 and USB input simultaneous.

More to investigate .... and lots more features to explore.
