Question Problems with VST's????????

Hi, i recently got a new laptop and Korg midi controller, and i went to use my controller in Cubase SX3 but when i use a with a VST the sound is delayed. How can i sort this out

It's called latency. If you're using your internal sound card, there's probably nothing you can do about it, though you could try ASIO4ALL which is a free sound card driver that users report really low latency (http://www.asio4all.com/). If that doesn't work, you'll need to consider a pro quality sound card. They don't have to cost an arm and a leg. Avoid Sound Blaster.

The M Audio Audiophile 2496 is a highly respected, rather inexpensive(around $150) sound card. Only 2 analog I/O, but may be suitable if you don't need more at this time.
