Hi everyone! I'm new in this forum. I have a problem with my alesis io2 for sometime now. I use it with Cubase SX3. When I open the Cubase, sometimes it works and another times it doesnt. I tried several configurations but to no avail. Any help? Thanks! |

Do you have the latest drivers? When you say it does not work, do you mean the PC can't recognise the IO2 as connected? Do you have the latest drivers for your Firewire interface? Baron

Hi I'm new to the forum. I have a lot of computer hash and clock noise from my io2 interface. I'm using Sound Forge on a Dell laptop. I see it the minute I put the IO2 into record. Think QBase might be better?

i used to run my io2 through XP and it worked fine but upgraded to vista64 a month ago and i havent been able to get the inputs to work since. i am using FL and can use the outputs to my monitor speakers to mix down just fine but as far as using the inputs goes i just get varying degrees of high pitched whine but there isno signal going in. is it true that the drivers are vista incompatible because that would explain alot? i got in touch with alesis and they said that it uses a standard windows audio codec and that i didnt need any new drivers, they emailed a tape2pc driver but that was as much use as a fish bicycle. The alesis driver supplied is i think just a version of asio so i have tried using newre versions of that and still get the same problems - can anyone help - if its true it wont work with vista64 i can just can it and get something new
