It doesn't sound good. If you use the same cable and mic on channel one as on channel two, I'd take it back where you got it. Are you using the software mixer that came with it? If so, I'd double check all the settings there.
Presonus Inspire 1394
Ok so I just opened the box last night, plugged it in and tried using Channel one and i get nothing but hiss and squeel. What's that about?
Channel 2 however works great no issues.
BTW im using an XLR.

Checked the mixer and even Cubase LE device setup and still funked up..
