presonus firestudio project compatiblity issues

Whuddup all,

System 1 specs:

OLD HPa1224n
XP PRO 2002 SP3
Intel(R)Pentium(R)4
CPU 3.06GHz,3.06GHz, 3.11GB of RAM
FL 8


System 2 specs:

I Mac 20 (bought around Dec)
XP PRO 2002 SP3
Intel(R) Core(TM) Dou CPU
T770 @ 2.40GHz
2.39GHz,2.98GB of RAM
FL8


MAKING THE SWITCH-From Line 6's Toneport UX2 to Presonus Firestudio Project.A good choice i would think.

Ive been using the Toneport UX2(usb) for a while,since it came out you can say.Encountered issue after issue,drove me insane (the main reason i got the I Mac) so the UX2 wouldnt have any "compatiblity" conflicts when i ran the check in Line6. Finally,everythings "Compatible" works "ok" i guess, but really no difference in sound or performance in either set up i have.Had fun with the UX2, but felt it was time to step it up with a firey stride!
ENTER PRESONUS FIRESTUDIO PROJECT !
And im nowhere fast!all the down time wasted trying whatever i can to get this baby to work.downloaded latest driver from Presonus,still no diff.
Funny though, the PFSP kinda works on the System 1 set up.blue light is on, i can get sound to work in FL8,but i cant play wmplayer audio.theres an issue here, just dont know where to look orhow to fix or work around it.

No such luck when it came to the I Mac.yes, the blue light is on but nobody's home.plus i get this messege saying :"not enough asio inputs.at least 2 required", or something to that nature when i attempt to open FL8

your advice is GREATLY appreciated
