Default Out mix eq'ing

Mixer → EQ → Maximizer → Amp → Loudspeakers. Correct?

For a studio?
Interface → Monitors

The question is very vague, what are you setting up?

1st option. Geared toward live app. Korg d3200 multi-trk recorder (used as my mixer)// Behringer 31b eq with sub out// BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer unbalanced// Samson powerd mixer (used for amps only- has 4 speaker outs 2 amps on it - a tape in and 1 aux in) // 2 Jbl passive mains 1 passive sub. Now, I would like to use the low pass/crsover out that's on the eq for the sub. I just need for someone to point me in the right direction. I know there maybe only a couple different ways to set this up but I'd like the safest one

2nd option (with interface) Don't have the interface yet but how would I fit it into this mix. I also will be getting some powered monitors.

I appreciate anyone who takes time to read this mess.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is. Is this the output of your mixer which you'll be using for monitoring? If so, I'd want the bare minimum. You are going for monster accuracy here. Even if I was a fan of the Sonic Maximizer (which I am not) I definitely wouldn't want it on my studio monitors. Does that make sense?

I see, you need this as a PA system, not for a studio set up.

Then you had it close. Since the EQ is used as a cross-over, it's best directly before the amp. I don't see a need for the BBE because you have the subwoofer and EQ to controll most of your sound. But it would be directly after the mixer, or as a send effect on individual channels.
