The software: Windows Vista (yeah yeah, I know but... yeah) Magix Music Maker 14 Producer Edition The Hardware: CAD U37 USB Microphone The Problem: I can't figure out how to hear myself while I record vocals. I'm not having that problem with the speakers muting, I already fixed that thanks soley to this website. Magix is set up for playback ( it allows you to check the settings before each recording) and the proper speakers are selected, defaulted even, since I don't have any other speakers hooked up. I just can't figure it out. I'm gonna try using Audacity to see if it's a Magix of Vista that is giving me grief. But if anyone has any suggestions now, I'd be really glad to hear them! Thanks! -Fable |

I use three older Magix Studio, but not the Maker. There is a loudspeaker ICON by the record ICON on the track header. And also, the first page of the audio setup has selections for monitoring type.
