New To Audio Engineering

Hey guys,

So recently I've decided to take a big turn in my life and my passion for music and decided to discover the wonders of audio engineering. I'm going to school next September, but as to which school I should go to is beyond me. There is one in Dublin, "Sound Training Center" which covers a lot of criteria in a 2-year span. I haven't researched too much in finding the right school because this one seemed adequate.

In terms of knowledge I have for sound levels and production and recording in general, I am an acoustic pianist. Which probably says it all. I've never really had to adjust levels before. The only piece of equipment I own is a Zoom H4 Recorder.

My primary goal with this field? To open my own recording studio and use it to further my own music. Because the music in my head needs a lot of production in order to accomplish.

Anyways, my name is Daniel, and I am here to gain as much knowledge from you guys as possible until the next school year.
