Hello this is my first post... I jus bought a Tascam US-122L to be able to add my own guitar and bass to my Reason projects. I had no problem installing it and have it work under Windows XP Media Center Edition on a HP dualcore 3.0ghz 2gig RAM and the onboard Realtek HD Audio Card. But i can't get it to work with Reason or Cubase... Well first of all Cubase doesnt produce any sound at all... The audio settings are fu*ked up. I don't understand ASIO blabla so ok i went with ASIO Direcx Duplex but no sound and i have no other option... With Reason ( which is my favorite DAW , i know it very well ) i dont know how to hook it up. Ok i could record with Audacity or whatever program and then open up Recycle and make a REX file and play it with Dr.REX in my song but that is a very slow process and Reason would lose all is magic ability to record a track really fast. So can an1 gimme some advice to use my TASCAM. If i can't use it with Reason the way Cubase use it then ok ill go with Cubase but once again i got problems with Cubase so i need 2 answers please How to have it work with Reason and how to make my Cubase work. BTW my Cubase is Cubase LE bundled with the TASCAM but if i like it ill buy the real thing.
PS: my Midi Keyboard is pluged USB to the computer and not in the TASCAM yet cuz i gotta buy a midi cable. |

Did you get a copy of the Cubase "Getting Started" pdf with your Tascam US-122L? When I set up mine I just followed the instruction in that getting started manual and it worked great. Also, have you downloaded the latest firmware and drivers from the Tascam site?
