Need Help With My Home Studio

ive just bought a xenyx 502 mixer with pre-amp and 48v, a kam usb h100 soundcard and a jts js-1x1 condenser microphone i have the mic connected to the mixer, the mixer from main output to the soundcards input on the phono switch but it still dosent seem to work on audacity and cool edit 2 or anything i have so any suggestions what the problem might be?

Is the kam configured as the primary sound card.
If not disable any on board sound within you BIOS and remove any other sound cards.

Good! computer don't sound very nice anyways.
Now you have to take the output from your kam, plug it in to a mixer stereo in. Plug your speakers or headphones in to the mixer.
Be carefull to avoid feedback loops.

How do you disable the soundcard?

Well if it were me, and assuming your on a PC, and also assuming it's a built in sound card, I would disable it from within the BIOS of your motherboard.

okay ive disabled the onbourd sound, but it still wont work what do i do next?
