surprise!!! that is how the world hears your voice happens to all of us the first time we listen to ourselves played back from a recording nobody's voice sounds the same to themselves yes your mike might modify it a little bit but by and large that is what the world is hearing when you talk unless you are truly using a tin can with a homemade transducer into the pc's onboard sound card mike input people recognise your voice on the telephone with a bandwidth of only 300-3500 cps - its not your mike making that difference dont believe it ? ask somebody to listen to you and then to your recording want to sound better? f/x the heck out of it or take voice lessons |
