monitors on a budget
Hi Ihave been doing some tracks with my inspire gt and cubase le and they sound pretty good so far. but i have been monitoring with sennheiser headphones and want to upgrade to a decent set of studio monitors. can i get some suggestions for a decent pair in the 300 or less dollar range? maybe im pinching pennies here? do i need to spend more? ok thanks for the help

For my last band project we flew up an engineer from L.A. with all of his gear and made a studio out of our practice space.
Our album was mixed and mastered on a set of KRK Rokit RP-8's (which I believe will run you about $400) and we had amazing results. Of course, the guy was incredible and I think it was more his ear and talent than the monitors. Nonetheless, I'm gonna get me a pair when I can afford them.
