Hi folks, I am an internet radio broadcaster who just purchased some new audio equipment and am having a noob problem getting it set up. Basically, I have an AKG condenser mic, a behringer mixer, and it is plugged into line in on my pc. Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT no sound on the right. I am sending sound out the L/R XLR outputs on the back of the mixer and into an adapter to combine them into one which is then plugged into line in. The faders are equal. Pan is centered. I've checked all the connections, and they are secure. In xp control panel the line in is checked and sound is set to balanced. So I am pulling my hair out because I have no idea how to fix this. Could it be the sound card ? Any ideas are greatly appreciated !!! -Eve Last edited by djeve; 03-04-2007 at 02:36 PM. |

Adapters, in general, suck. I hate everyone of them. I have some that actually work, but most are garbage. You are better of learning how to soldier and building your own custom cables when you can. At least this is better in the long run. 1/8" adapters are the worst! Brandon |
