Magix Music Studio 12 & LIVID Drumset

Hi, everyone.

I use the software mentioned in the subject line on a vista 64 bit machine. It works great except for the LIVID drum plugin. Magix/Samplitude is aware of the problem and suggests looking for a replacement on another website (KVR: Virtual Instruments, Virtual Effects, VST Plugins, Audio Units (AU), DirectX (DX), Universal Binary Compatibility - Audio Plugin News, Reviews and Community or something like that).

Does anyone use the same software? Found a nice replacement?

Besides LiVID there's another drum plugin within MS12, named Robota. Robota is a subset of Robota Pro (found in Samplitude and Sequoia, expensive sequencers by Magix). There're only 4 drum elements, but the sound is zillion times better than the one you can get from LiVID. However, Robota is not as simple as LiVID.

I've been using Robota some. I like it. In fact, I like it just fine. Its a great tool. Since I originally posted this, I've installed a firewire interface. Just as an experiment on one song so far, LiViD is working! Don't know if it will on the next project, but hey, its great to see its capabilities!
