Default Mackie U.420d Not Detected

Hey Tom,

The info you've given me is brief, but I'll do my best.

1) Try a different Fireport.

2) Double check to make sure you have the appropriate chipset.

3) Try moving your Firewire card to a different PCI bus (if applicable).

4) Try unplugging the Mackie, restart the computer, turn it off, plug the Mackie back in, and start it back up. This shouldn't work, but it has a knack for finding components that don't to be found.

5) Go to Control Panels > System and double check to ensure that your Firewire card is functional and there is no yellow explamation mark.

Give me some more info and I should be able to help.
