Dear all, I have a Lexicon Omega Sound-device. Everything works fine so far, except for one issue: I used to use an E-Mu 0404 PCI device and I could record what was played on the pc, i.e. what was send through the output. Now, I have the Omega device and I really do not get it work. Is it possible to record the outgoing sound, e.g. of a game or something? If so, can you tell me how to do that? I have Audacity and Cubase 4 LE. Thank you in advance! |

You can't do it directly. If you have an output on your computer sound card you could make a cable with a 1/8" stereo to a 1/4" stereo adapter to a "Y" stereo to dual mono adapter (sounds worse than it is) and run it from the soundcard into the line inputs of the Omega. Or you can get software that records anything from your computer and then import the files into your Cubase or Audacity project.
