Default How to burn cd inside the DP02

I am looking for simple instructions on how to, for example, burn track 1, 3 and 2 of a song i have recorded onto a CD. The manual instructions didn't work , anyone have a quickie version of how to do this? I would also like to master it before the burning, if there are only a few steps you may know that would be great. I have searched previous posts with no luck, and boy, tHe manual is not user friendly/not sure if the video would be any better.... Amanda

I will assume DP is like all DAW's. You will need to MIXDOWN your tracks to a 16 bit 44.1kHz .wav file. Then you can use any CD burning software like Windows media player, Nero, whatever to burn it to CD. Very likely DP has it's own CD burning options, but maybe that is what is making it confusing for you. First learn to Mixdown your songs.

As far as "mastering" you probably mean making the volume comparable to other CD's. This is a complex subject but you should begin by putting a Limiter set at 0dB on the main output channel so you will not have any distortion from clipping. Adjust the threshold to make it as obnoxiously loud as you want, while realizing that eventually you come to a point of diminishing returns by squashing the dynamics out of a song.

There are no really, really answers for making good mixes. It takes practice and creativity.
