Help: mics for vocals + acoustic guitar?
Hello people. What would you use for vocals and acoustic guitars?
I've found this ones: MXL 990/991 kit: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...age?sku=703626 AKG Perception 200: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...one?sku=271243 Are they any good? Do you recommend buying the MXL990/991 together, or just the cheaper 990 with shock mount? Or do you have a better idea? I don't want to spend too much.

I'd go with variety and versatility. It's better to have 4 $100 mics (assuming they all sound different) than it is to have one $400 mic. Brandon

Hi Orlandor and Brandon
Not being rich I needed a mic for recording Voice and acoustic guitar that I could also use for live performance. I finally settled on the AKG Perception 100 and I am very pleased with the performance aspect. Have not yet done any serious recording
