Default Help: mics for vocals + acoustic guitar?

Hello people. What would you use for vocals and acoustic guitars?

I've found this ones:

MXL 990/991 kit: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...age?sku=703626
AKG Perception 200: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...one?sku=271243

Are they any good? Do you recommend buying the MXL990/991 together, or just the cheaper 990 with shock mount? Or do you have a better idea? I don't want to spend too much.

Yeah, I'd go with one of the package deals like

MXL MXL 990/993 Studio Package

or

MXL MXL 992/993 Studio Package.

These mics are more than capable of making great recordings. Sometimes they'll beat out mics costing 20x as much. I'd go with variety and versatility. It's better to have 4 $100 mics (assuming they all sound different) than it is to have one $400 mic.

Hi Orlandor and Brandon

Not being rich I needed a mic for recording Voice and acoustic guitar that I could also use for live performance.

I finally settled on the AKG Perception 100 and I am very pleased with the performance aspect. Have not yet done any serious recording
