Default Help! How do I record drums on seperate tracks?

hello,

but when i record my drums onto my computer they all record onto the same channel on my software. is there any way i can have a seperate channel for each drum on my software?

Yes, but you'll need an audio interface capable of delivering individual inputs for each track. Take a look at this: Audio Interface Wizard

You haven't mentioned yet how many mics you are using, or in what way they are connected to your computer.
You need to make sure your interface has enough inputs to give you all the channels you want going into your software...

Im using a M-audio fast track ultra audio interface, with cubase le4. Im using 4 mics, 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 overheads. How can i solo out a bass drum track? i know they all have to be mono but im clueless on how to separate them into separte mono tracks.
