help with Cubase Le 4 and the Lexicon Omega

I am recording guitar directly. My Omega picks it up, I press record, get done, but it does not show up when it's done. It simply disappears as if I didnt record at all. Also I am having troubles with the monitor button, it does not work on my computer.

Ok, first, I assume you are using Cubase LE4?

In Cubase you set up input and output channels?

You opened a new mono Audio track and selected the proper input channel? This is a bit tricky with the Lexicon because it can accept four different input mono tracks.

Here's what you do:
Plus your guitar into the High impedance input on the fron t of the Omega. turn up the level dial (That's input 3, right?) and put the mix knob in the center position. Activate the Monitor Button on the track in Cubase. Select mono input one. Now make sound on guitar. Is there activity on the meter in Cubase? If not, push the channel selector for input 3-4 on the Omega and try again.

I can give you more instruction if needed but let's see how far you have got.
