Getting Started w/ Cubase LE

hey guys... i just got Cubase LE for my mac osx and using M-audio keyboard as a trigger... i got the trigger to work but there is no sound coming out of my speakers... i tried to mess with the preference menu but it's not simple... i would appreciate the help to get this recording started... Thanks...

Make sure you have the output of the MIDI track set to the proper VST instrument. Also make sure you have the proper channel selected. (In most cases, Channel 1 is fine).

and make sure in the vst connections menu that you have turned on some sort of stereo output bus to your monitors. the output of the vst channel should be this bus.
