I'm a total newbie who has recently acquired an Axiom 61 controller, a lexicon lamba audio interface, and for now I'm using Cubase LE. My very basic question is about what physically connects to what, and along which connections the signals should travel. I connect the controller to the PC via USB - this is required to power it. Does this mean the data signals will travel via USB to the PC, even if I also connect the controller directly to the Lambda via midi cables (in->out and out->in). Something tells me I want data always routed via the Lambda, and never directly between the PC and the controller via UBS - does that make any sense at all? Should I get an AC adapter about power the controller directly, and then remove the USB link? Or is the PC linking to both the controller & audio interface via two USB connections OK? (I've got no midi recorded yet - even though Cubase does detect controller and I have used Cubase/Lambda succeddfully for guitar & mic recording).

Are you saying they aren't showing up in Cubase? Is the dll file for each plugin in your plugins folder?
