Is your Master Fader kissing 0.0? I think Brandon has a get maximum loudness article somewhere on the site if you search on the left. Compression and a brickwall limiter on the master fader's insert will help you out too

The volume issue isn't Cubase. It's your mixing. Unfortunately, modern mixes are mega mega loud. This means you've got to work much harder to cram that much audio into a limited band of dynamics. This is a normal issue for people fairly new to mixing. Mastering is designed to do this, but mastering can only add so much volume to a quiet mix without destroying the mix entirely. http://www.recordingreview.com/artic...ugh-Trick.html Brandon |

Wow, it's a shame that's how it has to be. I don't really care how loud it is... that's what the volume knob is for... but the rest of the band won't have it. Oh well... back to the mixing board.... i mean, computer...
