Hi, I'm having a really weird problem with my FastrackPro...When I listen to something through the headphone jack it sounds fine, the way it should sound..but when I listen through the outputs it sounds like complete garbage, absoulutely tiny, nothing at all like the way its supposed to sound...It's becoming a real annoyance in my setup because I want to be able to have a performer use the headphones set to one mix and one level and be able to monitor myself differently. Any suggestions? |

| What is your "regular computer sound system" ? Powered pc speakers ?

| I'm not sure what you mean by powered. I have Logitech computer speakers with a subwoofer....

What's the model of the Logitech speakers ? I'll look them up. |

They're Logitech X-230's...I don't think they're powered. So hold on let me just see if I understand you're saying the audio sounds tiny and bad coming from the outputs in the back because I'm plugging an unpowered speaker into there but if I would plug a powered speaker in there it would sound fine? Thanks a lot for your help I appreciate it this has been bugging me for a while. |

The subwoofer has a regular three pronged power cable coming from it that I have going to the wall...When I plug these speakers into the headphone jack of the fastrack everything sounds right but when I plug into the outputs its terrible.

How are you hooking it up to the line out on the back ? The line outputs are mono only, but the headphone is stereo. I bet if you bought a stereo female sub-mini to trs male mono y-cable it would solve your problem or at least help it. Ahh good call...yeah I've just been using a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter to plug my speakers into the jacks in the fasttrack and what you'e saying may very well be the problem. So if I get one of those adapters you linked to I'd need to plug both mono 1/4 plugs into both of the outputs or just one into one?
