 EMU 1820m Compatibility
Howdy all! Brand new to the forums here. Im also pretty much brand new to home recording technologies and Im working on learning as much as I can. My question involves EMU audio interfaces 1820m and 1616m. I've had the 1820 for awhile and I recently purchased a laptop computer. Awhile ago my Bro gave me the 1616m cardbus used to connect the 1616m microdock to a laptop. Does anybody know if there is anyway to attach the 1820m audiodock to my laptop via the 1616m cardbus? I've done a lot of research and I can't find a definite answer one way or the other. They don't seem to work together but I guess I'm just double checking that Im not missing something...And if not can anyone say why it is that they dont work together? I figured it was the same EDI outputs/inputs and stuff... Thanks!  |
