 Edrums - we made them work!  No problem here, just reporting that a friend and I have been trying to hook up a Legend DD505 e-kit to the PC for a while... finally made the thing work today, hooking it up to BFD Lite.Kit has a MIDI out, this went to a USB convertor cable, this cable has a driver that goes to MIDI Yoke, Midi Yoke patches to "Edrum monitor" and this finally gets to patched into Protools and that patches to BFD Lite. We made all the sounds "learn" within MFD Lite, seems to be the easiest way. Do any of the ToonTrack programs learn as easily as BFD? I'm tempted to bail on DFHS and go to BFD, because the Ekit implementation is really quite simple (and we aren't doing this because we like to stress out). Anyways, just wanted to share a victory  |
