Default Cool Edit Pro 2.0

I was wondering if anyone uses Cool Edit Pro! I learned on this software, and I have always found it easy to work with. I am wondering if these new USB, or Firewire interfaces will recognize Cool Edit pro! Anyone with any help, will be much appreciated!
All me Best!

Yes, any audio interface should work with Cool Edit Pro.

Try to post in the right section.

Actually, Cool Edit Pro offers no ASIO support at all. Its the main reason I had to upgrade to Audition.

Most devices will have WDM drivers so they should still work, you may not get the latency low enough.
I've never used CEP, never understood why it's so popular with beginners either. I always assumed (possibly wrongly) that if you type 'recording software' into Limewire etc. that was the first one that comes up.

Adobe audition looks so cluttered and complicated, unlike the very well designed Photoshop.
