I am using a normal computer keyboard with midi programs and I can never good good polyphony with it it randomly decides to let me have 2-5 polyphony and its really freaking annoying. Its just a regular qwerty keyboard. Is it possible to overcome this and have more polyphony. I really want to work on chords and voice leading at work. Thank you for your consideration and god bless.

I have the same issue with my keyboard and Ableton Live...I'm not really sure what causes it, but I use a music keyboard as a controller and that has never failed me (at least anything that needs attention). So I'd highly recommend getting a midi controller, especially since it will be easier to play and probably more versatile, but I have no idea other than that.
