ARC System & Runtime Error Help

I installed the Advanced Room Correction System software. It opened and let me go through the setup and room measurements. When I was finished with the measurements it processed the information and applied the correction. When I named the file and tried to save it I got the following message:
Runtime Error!
Windows C++ Runtime Error Library -
C: Program Files\IK Multimedia\ARC System\measurement.exe
A runtime error has terminated the application in an unusual way.

I have been running Vista Home Premium 32bit with my M-Powered ProTools 7.4 for over a year with no trouble. I have loaded a ton of plugins over the last year with no problems.
I have tried to change the compatibility in properties and also tried opening it in administrator. I have ran a registry cleaner also in case that was the problem but I get the same error. I am getting tired of taking all the measurements, it takes time, then getting an error. I sent a request to IK Multimedia's Tech Dept. 2 days ago but haven't had any response from them thus far. I have a recording session tomorrow night that I was wanting to use it on. I hate to spend this much money on something I can't use or send back since I've broken the seal. I was wondering if this could be a problem with the CD itself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What folder are you trying to save the parameter file to ?

Try saving to your desktop, you will always have write permissions.

Thanks for the reply JAG... IK sent me a patch for this software release today. It solved the problem...I guess that's why I like IK so much..their customer service has been second to none.

Hey Ekit60! I just received my ARC sys yesterday and I'm having the same issue as you. I took me almost 45 minutes to mesure my control room(it's huge) and after I measured it it gives me the Runtime error and it shut's down. I was wondering if you could hook me up with the patch as I realy can't wait for 2 day to get it. i have a session tomorrow,and really'd like to use it. My email is jrcruzusa@yahoo.com.

For anyone that purchases IK Multimedia's ARC System after installing and registering your software go to the downloads section and get the update for ARC System. It will keep you from doing a lot of work measuring your room for nothing. I hope this saves someone some time.
